the 300 has a pretty long running surface,,look it your swim platform Where are the shims at, closer to the hull or closer to the prop side and how did you know they were in backwards? I pretty good at figuring stuff out but you have me at a loss right now. I am think what you are saying is this will allow the out drive to be in a more negative trim position. Meaning tucked in more, right? |

I think I got the Friday version of the HO's that only put out like 390HP, I see guys talking about 80-81GPS on the 300 mine 74-76GPS speedo doesn't really seem to matter on load. 28p bravo 1's 4950-5000RPM fully trimed out, only seems to change a little when I pull trim back to like 5 or 4. No tabs, maybe that is what I am missing.
I am thinking he is going to close to 78-80 with the 500's. something does not sound right,,496HOs should be spinning 30 Bravos at 5000 to 5050 rpms.. |

Thanks, have check out those shims, I will have to try less trim, if i can ever get the boat out (weather) I do know a boat that has some 30's on it now that I can try, I think it just showed up yesterday. Of course I only live about 45 min from Brent at BB blades.
Yes he was talking about Revenge's with 496HO's spinning 30's. And yes I agree, I love the ride on my 300. |
