When I was signning the papers on the boat we noticed that it was a 2001 boat and not a 2000. He had listed this boat for sale on boat trader as a 2000 model. I made it home with the boat on Saturday night and could not wait untill Sunday morning to put it into the water. We put it in the water Sunday morning and went for our first ride and all I could say was sweeeeeeet! With 3 people and about 50 gal of fuel it would go 69 @ 5000 rpm. The prop was a mirage 23p 3-blade. The only problem I had was that my fuel gauge did not work. Need to get that fixed. I ran one full tank of gas on Sunday. Is this fuel consumtion normal? Now that it is a 2001 instead of a 2000 model would there be anything that I may need to know for prop setup ect.

I would suspect you need a new sending unit. Had that problem with my 2000 Silencer. Very happy with the ride and comfort of the boat. Watch for oversize screws poking through the sunpad.
Had to replace alot of vinyl. I think the factory fixed that problem
in 2001.

I had the same problem with my sundeck
. When they inserted the screws, the wood inside the sundeck chipped away and some of those chips went vertical and poked through once you stepped in the right spot (OUCH). I too took it to the factory and they fixed the problem as well as replaced the vinyl.
