Question Drive and trim indicator

On my 2002 vyper one of the drive indictors seems to be sticking or something is causing it to stop on 2, 2/12. While the other side moves all the way in and out, I know the drives are moving in and out, just not the dot in the indicator. What would be causing this and how do I go about repairing that ? Also how do I know both the drives and trim indicators are adjusted correctly?

Ok, I finely had time since it was the weekend and the weather wasn't that great I looked at the indicators. I found the cable is rotted out about 2-3 inch. from the outdrive, the cable covering is split and the cable is coming through. Now I need your help ! I am leaving for the Oazrk's Thursday for 10days . Were can I get a drive trim cable for my trim indicators?
I need to order them tomorrow and next day air them, so I have time to replace them. What do I need to tell them when ordering the cables? Please help.
Thanks, Mark

Livorsi stocks them,,you can drive over and pick them up..
You may want to do it after you come back from LOTO,,I replaced them on Calvins 380 which is the same as your 340,,and its a pain in the a$$ job..attaching the cables to the mechanical indicator will have you saying words you never said before,,
give you tip,,lay some towels under the indicator so when you drop the little springs and nuts and bolts they wont drop to the bottom of the bilge,,

You might want to pick up an extra pointer kit from Livorsi also. The pointers are spring loaded and real easy to lose when doing this job. If you have the original cables you might consider replacing both drive and tab cables since it wouldn't be that much more work.
