Default Transome Shower

So the wife said she wanted me to install a transome shower on the revenage. I told her she was bat s&!t crazy if she thought I was going to cut a hole in the boat to put a transome shower in.

Sooooooooo

Here is a pic of my freshly cut hole

Ran a line to the sink and T'ed off of it. It works great I even made a home made heat exchanger in the engine compartment with about 25ft of tubing.

Here is what the finished product looks like. You really can't even see any of it in the engine compartment.

Maybe if you guys are nice I can post a pic of her using it. Least she could do for all the Prozac I needed to take for cutting the hole.

Word of caution, if the hose falls off the tee under the sink the pump will pump all 10-12 gal of water right under the sink and not even shut off. ask me how I know.

Had a shower on my baja and used it all the time. My formula already has the hole cut out, but I need to add the shower head. Who makes the shower head? Do you have enough water pressure? Thought I was going to have to add another water pump.

It's a whale DS0005. I got it from these guys, http://www.goodboatgear.com/detail/1...FRSVMgodAFQAsA they were the cheapest, little slow on shipping but I had it in a week. They also make one with hot water too all the controls are in the head of the shower. It is only 2" round if you didn't know any better you would think it is a gas cap.

I thought I was going to have to add a bigger pump too, but I have plenty of water pressure coming off the sink, way more than I would have thought, I used 1/2 tubing to get to the back. If you see the post above it is a whale DS0005.

Another choice and I believe these were used on Baja's, but could be wrong;

I have the factory installed unit, it's from ITC where a lot of other PQ stuff was from....being they are damn near neighbors.

I like it because it is hard to see its there on the inner swim platform.
