Hey Tom,
When I had my fridge out there is a plywood shelf that the fridge and air conditioner and bottom of the storage under the sink. By my build photos there would need a hole drilled in it to access underneath.
Can't remember how to post pics or I would.
Rich, post the pics I sent so Tom can see what I mean, maybe he knows something that will help.

I get what Tom is saying with the 380...large open access under my fridge. 340/380 difference?

Yes that is a pic from my Vyper. What does the fridge sit on in an Avenger? I have another pic of the "floor" that I sent Rich via email and that entire section is cover in plywood. As mentioned, my air, fridge and bottom of storage compartment under sink is one piece of plywood.
Must be different, but still curious what the fridge sits on.
Edit. You can see the factory transducer wire in that pic....when you enlarge a bit.

"air, fridge and bottom of storage compartment under sink is one piece of plywood" On my 380 that piece of plywood is already cut open in the 'triangular' area at the stringer. Infact I even have a sump box for the A/C condensation drain in the area up to the bulkhead.

the fridge sits on the stringers and the back rests on the front step(hull step),you can see the step behind the stringers by the line I drew,,the depth finder is were I drew the arrow,,no plywood,,its right under the fridge,,at least that is how it was on my friends 02 380 and a 2000 340 that I saw with the fridge out of it.
the plywood panels forward of that are the storage compartments under the cusions

Went ahead and pulled the fridge to see what mine was like. My Vyper has no plywood under the fridge. The area where factory installed Depth transducer is open. The transducer looks like it is recessed into the bottom glass, the top is even with the inside glass. It does look like that the area around the transducer is a 1/4" to 3/8" thicker than the glass ahead of it. If I try to install the new transducer just ahead of the existing one, does anybody know if the bottom is solid glass there on the PQ's
