The issue would be the stepped hull on a straight bunk, thats a lot of weight concentrated on the edge of the steps for a long period of time. Buy a cheap trailer and have it re-bunked... Could get measurements from any of the revenge guys on here. What power??

Thanks for the input.

I've decided on a custom trailer. No sense in having something not up to the task.

It has 496 HO's, Bravo 1 X's, air/heat. I'm assuming it has the "weekender" package. It has the bimini and front isinglass but not the sides or rear curtain. Hopefully i can get those before the end of summer.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

I've always heard this and I don't disagree, but the boat has been sitting on a rack all of its life that is almost the same as a straight bunk trailer. Obviously there are not the same forces exerted while sitting on a rack compared to on a trailer while in motion. Maybe I just answered my own question and that is fine.

Has anyone had problems with a stepped hull sitting on a rack?

I was surprised to find out NorTech delivers their boats on straight bunk trailers all the time. The factory also told me tons of people keep them on flat bunk lifts in Florida. Mine was delivered 1200 miles with no issues, but it sits on fitted stepped bunks on the lift now.

Sounds like a nice PQ...with A/C even. Congratulations!

Thanks! Yes, the air and heat are a great bonus. Considering there is still ice on the lakes here, heat may be the real bonus this summer. :angry-smiley-038:

Never heard of a 300 with air, where did they put the unit?
