I still have the stock exhaust on my 2002 viper with 496 mag ho's . Has anyone changed or removed the exhaust tips or inner portion of the tips. Does it sound better? Is it a lot louder? Is it a better sound? Any info would be helpful.

i have the same engines in my 01 Avenger. They are straight thru with the air actuated captains choice. It is pretty loud when in the open position. It does sound nice though. Just don't fire them up in a marina when in the open position early in the morning! Do you have a picture of your set up so we can get a feel for what you have?
