Stepped hull 280 silencer on standard 2 flat bunk lift?
Should one put a 280 silencer with the stepped hull on a standard boat lift that has 2 long straight bunks? Or do you need a special bunk configuration for the 280 silencer because it has a stepped hull?

Standard thing to do is add bunk material for each step. The added bunks should be about the same thickness as the depth of your steps. Length wise, size them so you have a little play in where your boat sits on the lift. also cut the front of the added bunk at an angle so the step won't get caught up on it. Then check the depth of where the lift stops. You may have to lower the depth a few inches so you don't get the steps caught up on the added bunks when backing off.

I've always only had 2 bunks. Just had additional build up of the bunk level to support the hull where it steps up.

I don't know how many steps are on a silencer.
