I do not have the straps anymore so that probably had a lot to do with why I couldn't figure out how it went it! Guess I will be looking for some straps first!
Did you ever get something figured out? Thanks. Brad. Model Machine and Precision LLC (937)545-8991 |
On my Velocity I just took some black webbing, sewed velcro and a D ring on and bolted it to that same area. Put the bimini in position pass the webbing around the binini and cinch it up. Easy and looks good.

I just texted Neil Wallace to see if they might still be available. Those fasteners really are nice. The straps will be clamed under the base, held by the phillips head screws, and the loop is held my the quarter turn. There is also an oval grommet in the strap, so the vinyl doesn't tear out. I'll let you know when Neil gets back with me. You can look him up on FaceBook or LinkedIn, too. If all else fails, what Padraig says is sound advice. Nothing more satisfying than working out something that just works. Thanks. Brad. Model Machine and Precision LLC (937)545-8991 |
