I have read some guys added a 1" spacer to the drive for better planing.

I have read that the 280 has a really shallow X dimension. I would like to try a 29 Mirage Plus, and I think a 1" spacer would lower the X dimension enough to make it work, and would also likely be a bit easier on the drive.

Dare to dream…

FWIW... About the link I posted, a 600+HP "all motor" big block, assuming a solid build, would likely be about as reliable as anything else. Just sayin’....
