Just saw a bunch of powerquest molds posted on marketplace. Also posted was an unfinished boat. I wonder if the molds are still usable after being weathered for so long?

I have a 2002 Powerquest 340 stepped hull. The engines are NA carbed 588s with about 300 hours. At 650 feet elevation the boat runs mid 90s with 30 pitch B1 props and a best of 98mph with 32 pitch B1 props. The boat is roomy and does everything well. Really the only complaint is bow rise while planing. That’s even with 380 tabs tucked in. I’ve surprised a few performance brands with this boat which always puts a smile on my face. Sad to see the molds being trashed, PQ had some really solid designs. I’m having WESCO Racing refresh the engines this winter and we’re going to see if we can get into triple digits without forced induction🍻
