Hello Powerquest Community,
I'm new here. 27yr old Chicagoan. My Grandfather turns 90 in Sept 2026. I am in search of his former, beloved Powerquest Legend 257 BR. He lived in Traverse City and sold the boat sometime in the early 2010's I believe. It's a single engine merc (either the 350 or 454) with a Bravo III outdrive. The boat was called the Jumpin' Jack. His name is Jack Burns. I believe the boat was parked and listed for sale in the parking lot of the Country Inn in Traverse. If anyone has any info on where I could find the current owner, or if you're the owner and are at all interested in selling, please let me know, as it has been a long time dream of mine to bring this boat back into the family and give my Grandfather the surprise of a lifetime when he can ride his Jumpin' Jack again for his 90th. Thank you very much for the help folks! Side note: I'm excited to become a part of this forum community and if the Powerquest hunt fails, I'll be purchasing a similar vessel sometime in the next 2 years and will certainly look for guidance from all of you.
Fair winds, and following seas,
William Harper
