Water and Air Install
Has anyone installed air/heat in a 34 or 38? If so, I am interested in what brand, where did you locate it, tips, etc.
If I keep my 34 I want to add a water tank/bladder and sink. Any suggestions on where to locate the tank? PQ said in the rear seat...but I hate gving up the storage and to have the tank visable. I am interessted in feedback on the bladder style tanks and any suggestions on where it could be located. I wonder if there is room under the refrig or if by removing the fridge that provides access to under the cockpit where it could be installed? Using one of the forard storage compartments may make it too high to fill. Thanks!! Happy Holidays. Jeff |

I moved my hot water to under the seat (no room in the engine compartment) it fit well and was easy to mount. If you have the engines out there is room under the bench but harde to get at if you have problems. Normally the water tank is under the port side extending from the engine bulkhead to almost the bolster seat.
I have a cruse air 5,000 BTU system in my PQ it was installed under the center cushion in the u-bench in the main cabin see picture. It has two outlets and works pretty well. The seawater pump is mounted in the engine compartment and the intake is in the bottom of the hull. The water dumps out beside the sink drain. |

Thanks for the info....

Another option where space exists is behind the fridge for either item. My A/C was installed at the factory and it is located behind the fridge and under the sink.

Well, the info about AC behind the refer will prompt me to pull it out and check to see if I can fit the tank or the AC back there.
Thanks and Happy Holidays! Jeff |
I had a estimate done for a/c and I think $850 for the unit and another $850 for labor.
