The fitting is to the pump-out head. Never have used it in 5 years.
PQ also quit putting non-skid along the sides of the deck, That will make waxing a lot easier.

Jan,
When do you go to pick it up? You better hurry it's gonna start snowing soon
The boat does look great! I also noticed you seem to have different tips. Did you swap out the Corsa tips? Did you notice a difference, if you did?

Yes the tips are different, I have gill exhaust with Corsa Captains Call. Also have a B&M flame arrestor and the Computer remaped by Tyler Crockett. 50 degrees and 1/2 tank with engine hatch cracked I have hit 67 mph on gps. (454 mag/efi)

That's interesting you say you cracked the engine hatch. I was thinking of adding some kind of naca duct on the sides to go to my carb. I think the engine compartment does need more air. I hit 62.7 GPS with a stock 454 mag carb motor. With a K&N 9x5 inch air cleaner and a 21 Mirage Plus repitched to a 22. I'm gonna put a new exhaust on in the spring.

Gary, I was turning a 23 mirage plus at 5200 when I hit 67.

Jan,
I believe you about your speed. In fact I'm impressed with it. I was just telling you what I get. You also have the EFI mag which is good for 35 more HP. I was turning 5050. What did you do to override the rev limiter? I thought it was 5050? Although I did hit 5100 a few times but I was a little over trimmed and did not get any more speed. Plus as you can probably tell I'm already going through the winter blues
And I just want to talk boats
What do you think it would take to get 70-75?

When Tyler remapped my ECM he raised the rev limiter to 5400.
From talking with Tyler Crockett it will take head work, roller rockers, cam and exhaust to hit 70(+). I have the exhaust already which is one major expense gone. I think I can get the rest done for around 3k, including dyno'd. I had planned on shipping my motor off to Crockett once I got my boat home, but I added almost 2k in extras while the boat was at PQ, might need to wait a couple more months.

I was just making sure I didn't inadvertantly insult you. I knew you were at Tyler that's why I knew you would have an idea as to what it would take. So, I'm pretty much stuck with the rev limit unless I go with an msd. When you say headwork is that new heads or rework the ones you have? I wondered if you could just rework these heads. I'm just gonna go with the exhaust right now because as you said that is a big expense. I'm leaning towards the Stainless marine's.

Re-work my heads. Tyler would perform decking, valve seats, and install bigger valves. He has a complete machine shop and does all of his own work.
On exhaust I got a friend upgrading his motors and bought his Gills for $1200.
If you watch the parts for sale section, exhaust always show up for about 1/2 price.
