Gary, I was looking at a new vee when the wife and I rode in a friend's cat during a pokerrun and by noon that day, we started looking at the cats. Not for the speed, but for the smooth ride at a decent speed in the water we normally run in. If we were running offshore or the Great Lakes all the time, we would have a vee.
