Rich, have you posted anything in the prop forum to see which props Throttle Up, BBlades or Houston Propeller might suggest for your setup?

P5 hydros - I would assume that would give you some lift. I got to thinking about it more later last nite. If you could keep the pitch, and create some more lift, would you free up the bottom and pick up the top end also? Sounds like a dream come true .

That boat was glued to the surface last nite. Some of that was lack of chop. It would be nice to get the setup where you could control that with the trim and tabs, and get the bottom nice and loose when you want to. My guess is there is another 4-5mph to be found, but again, what do I know.

It would be great to go on a prop testing weekend sometime. It was a sweet ride last nite.

I have always felt like that boat has another 5mph if you can get the steps to do what they are intended for..........

It is a geat ride, I have lots of good memories from that boat....

The P-5's were an improvement in every respect. I gained two MPH on the top end and five to seven MPH between 3500 an 4500 rpm. They dig in better out of the hole as well. You can actually feel the bow lift. Also, chine walk instability is positive. These pieces are the single largest improvement out of many I have made.
