Another sucessful year

Well guys another sucessful year with the Blondes Preferred boat (view boat at post #197). Probably the best was at Lake Cumberland Poker Run when speedboat.com put a model on the boat to take pictures of it and the (blonde) girl.
The link to the pictures is provide below.

Rrentsch,
just curious, how fast will your ride get on GPS?

I assume it has the new hull?

looks like a sweet ride.

Shawn

rrentsch 11-01-2007 01:54 PM

Shawn, From what I understand it's the older style hull. On GPS I have seen 71 or 72 and thats with 1" spacers and 30" props.

One of my favorite images with the reflection in the water...however, give the GF the best of cameras and she still cuts off the bow. LOL!

Second year. I've put about 50 hours on it so far.....want something bigger and just a touch faster. Still want the amenities so that is why the AT.

AJ POWERPLAY 06-01-2013 09:02 PM

AT makes a nice boat no doubt... There was a nice 37 that just sold in west MI not to long ago, maroon and silver i think

Wasn't that nice, thought about that one, but wasn't thrilled about spending money on all new vinyl and a **** load of paint work at day one of ownership. Granted the number low cheap to buy, but imagine how little it was maintained if the boat was that bad. No thanks.

AJ POWERPLAY 06-01-2013 09:11 PM

Ahh, was goin by what others that had seen it had said, i didnt see it myself. Are u doing the LEOPA spring run? Im coming down for it

Look in the AT section, others said the same as me.

No, not doing LEOPA, I'll be at the Tawas boat races....same weekend. You are still doing Boyne, right? I took the first day of Tres Martin today...was awesome. Tomorrow the skill based stuff on the boat.

AJ POWERPLAY 06-01-2013 09:46 PM

Probably hitting boyne as a spectator...we will meet up

Ok, thought you had a slip??

moorekh 06-19-2013 11:12 AM

I've had two, a 237 and now a 270... The 237 was a xl w/ any option you could get in 98. The 270 has @ Gellner built 468 imco shorty, cmi headers, hydraulic steering and a few other goodies.

No I actually love it very much. It handles very nice, great speed, the boat is a 9.5 out of 10. No scratches dings chips or anything. What gave you that idea? When I was looking to move up to twins, I was looking at 29-34ft powerquest's and happen to come across this one and Boatnt old 300, I didn't know it was his at the time. I kind of zeroed in on the 300, only thing that it doesn't have that I didn't know I really like until recently is a stand up head that the 340 and 380 have, my next boat will have one.

Looks like a nice boat
Thanks my wife and I put a lot of time into keeping it clean.

Yea, gaining ground going backwards. That was a 40ss, and those things are quicker than people think they are. I am guessing he was going about 55-60 when I passed him.

Sorry my mistake. When I first read it I miss read it. Have you had that 300 long. It looks like one which I had my eye on (on the computer) for a while maybe 1 year ago. Pic showed boat beside garage, step ladder, guy was looking at the drives. Liked the way it looked as soon as I saw it. I thought to myself it doesnt have that jump in your face paint job. Perfect. Not taking anything away from the flashy paint jobs but it's just not me. I'm sort of stuck on the 300's but the 340's are right there on the short list as well. Would love to see an 03,04, 05 340,
