Catmando,I was actually looking for a SRW truck also until I ran across this one and fell in love.I was concerned the ride quality with the short bed and dual wheels would be harsh but it is surprisingly good over normal bumps.I plan on moving up to a 32' or 37' boat so I figured I would be safe.I have a company demo so I don't have to drive it every day.I can keep the mileage down for some killer road trips next summer. Is it here yet!!!

I am looking more at an Active Thunder.Possibly an Outerlimits if I can find an older 37 for short money(yeah right) but it will have to wait for now.Hopefully it will be sooner than later. The only thing better than the sound of one big block is two of them. What a country!!!

It was wet almost all the way across. I have most of it torn out. You can see what I've done in these pictures:

Re: anybody out there??

I guess that would depend on wether a person could do the work himselft...

The transom would probably cost 2500 to have done, but could be done yourself cheaper.
Two sheets of marine grade plywood = $200
5-7 gallons of vinylester = $200-$250
cloth and mat = $200
($650-$750 for the transom)

There is still one wiring harness in the boat and the wires for the trim and tabs are still there. They would just need to be re-terminated.

I still have the steering cable for it as well. You could get another tilt helm (<$120) and steering wheel.

You can get a set of guages from SSCompetition for $114.

I just sold a 454mag for $2700, you can get a transom assembly for $1300 and a used bravo for $1500. Exhaust $1000. (I've seen complete used propulsion packages for $6000)

That puts it at about $7500 in parts so far. I'm sure that you would need another $1000 for other misc stuff that I can't think of.

This would be a good project for someone with the parts laying around that didn't mind doing some glass work.
