just wondering how the cats hold up? any one running these on the great lakes?or coastal areas? i've heard of some people being unhappy with there profiles, but haven't heard any negatives about the cats. bought one last fall with low hours, didn't know if i should try to sell it if i get the chance. just looking for some info!

I've had mine for 4 years now, never been in the great lakes but spend lots of time at lake powell utah, when the wind and storms come in you will get waves from 3 to 6 foot, It seems to do a great job, I have no complants about it. Run the boat I think you will like it. what are you running for power and drive set-up?

I run mine in Lake Michigan 90% of the time. I have no issues with mine and I run the heck out of it. I have twin 300 promax outboards.
I have heard a lot of negatives about the profiles, but it always seems to be with the V's. I think they did a pretty good job with their cats.

I have had my 28 for six years ,had great luck, rides great and have some pretty stout power to bad the new owner was such a bandit and went belly up. Good news the general manager of the company I heard may be going off on his own I talked to him several times about set up and construction of the hull. He is a real nice guy and very knowledgable on hull construction. Hope he gives it a try his name is Jim

No problem I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. Lets get cracken on that new rocket you are designing , can't wait to part what little hair I have left. It should be really cool !!!

here's a question for you, how much HP and speed can this 28 handle, I'm in the process of building a 1100- 1200 HP engine, it only runs at 3600 ft elev. am I going to far?

There is no such thing as tooooooooo much. With that said I can tell you my history. I have a 580 ci chev. brodix raised port alium. heads lots of work done to them solid lift cam 1071 blower 2 950cfm carbs that are fiowed msd ign. I run about 7lbs of boost . Dyno says about 1000 hp 975 ft lbs of torque. at about 1000 ft of sea level. Beware you are going to need a good trans and a very strong lower.
