29 profile...twins or single?

im looking at two different profiles. both are 29ft. one has twin 502s and one has a 525sc. which is the better choice? will the single chine walk?

I have the 27 with a single HP 500 and B & M 250 blower. I think that the single is cheaper to run and maintain and I don't think you will loose much speed with the single. When I first bought mine I thought it was alittle unstable on top end but I had I had never driven a boat at 75 plus mph. After one season I found the problem was not the boat it was the driver ! Just needed more experience. I would go with the single. :flag::flag:

My friend has a 94 29V with 850 HP single. I think it's now called the 31? He runs around 85 and it does chine walk on flat water.
