I have seen multible small hairline fractures like you are descibing. It is rare but is usually related to poor casting issues.

well brett, boating was fun and will be in touch Monday to see what you think i should try. the 26 maximus worked ok but what you said is true lost some 550 rpm and kept the same speed if not lost a 1 to 2 mph. maybe start think about a good application for me if you have time. the information that i put up in earily talk will that be enough for you to work with? let me know or shoot me an email. thanks [email protected]
