Default Prop Rotation on Surf. Drives?

I have been wondering what to expect when I change my prop rotation from in to out on my 357 Kaama Surface drive boat. I am running 4 blade speedmaster props. Right now the boat carries the bow rather high. Will turning out help raise the stern? It is easy for me to test, I can just switch the props and run the trannies in reverse, I guess I will find out soon enough I was just curious.
Thanks

I was under the impression that running trannies hard in reverse was a NO NO.

My Trannies are TD 502's, They are set up to run in either direction. If the rotation change works you can switch the position of your shift arm on the tranny so the sticks move in the correct dirction. If not put the props back the way they were no difference. It is a 10 minute job, I just haven't tried it yet after owning the boat for 5 years.

Your boat attitude assumptions are correct in theory.

Occasionally it doesn't make a great deal of difference. Some boats don't react as well to the change. It will be interesting!

When changing rotation, always be careful in the upper throttle ranges! The boats characteristics will be different. You could find to much stern lift and transom trying to pass you.

Good luck.

Thanks Brett:

I will let you know how it turns out. The 357 is very azz heavy right now maybe it will offset that.. On another note I just purchased a 38 PQ Avenger 500hp's, 1.5 B1's, 25 mirages. I am looking into 4-blades, either Bravos or Hydros, I will call you and discuss this.
Thanks
Josh
