i recently bought a 2002 25 baja outlaw. it came with the mirage plus 23p prop. the boat ran a top speed of 68.3 with 1/4 tank of fuel at 4800 rpm. my question is, how can i tell if this prop was worked? i think it was becuase the blades are cupped a little but it doesnt lokk thinned at all. im trying to get more top end out of it but i dont know what to do with this prop so you prop people should step in here and help me out. thanks guys.

The Mirage Plus has a substantial amount of cup in it, stock from Mercury and the blades thick. If the blades are thick than it very well may be stock. The only way to know for sure is to have someone look at it or compare it next to a stock Mirage Plus. Hope this helps.

Does it have a mirrored chrome finish across the entire blade area? Are the back of the trailing edges a different finish? Is the leading edge radius thick and inconsistant?
If so, it is probably box stock.
