I boat in Northern California around the Sacramento area. I ordered a set of 14 1/2 x 34 merc lab finished cleavers so I will put them on when I recieve them and do some testing. I will change motor height as well. Thanks for all your info and I will post the results when I get them.

Wettin My Shorts I am not trying to be a Know it all , but rather trying to share my knowledge earned the hard way.So please understand........ Those 34'' props are way to much for you rig. I am able to spin them on my motion but my boat weighs 4400lbs. I think you need 15''x28ll cleavers I hate to see you spend your money on something that will not work. I have done so myself on several occasions The biggest props I was able to turn on my 32' hydra were 30s but 28s seem to work best. Hopefully you can change your order before the 34s show up
Did you check out the post by Fishead? His boat is similar to yours and is running well. Hopefully he will post what props he found to work well on his package.
Have a safe weekend Michael

The place I ordered the props from will let me exchange them if I don't get the results that I am looking for, so nothing really lost. I just know that I should be getting better performance. Your info has been a great help and we'll see what happens.
