With 23P Rev 4 Propellers, 1.5 gears, 4400 RPM at 60MPH on gps=
6% slip! This is not likely with your set-up. I would verify you recording devices.

I was running 59/60 at 4400 RPM before, I figured I was picking up 200 HP, 800 RPM, and losing about 600# from the engine compartment, I read somewhere it takes 15 to 20 hp to make one MPH, so 200 should equal 10 mph, and the added 800 rpm should get me a little more, and the weight was a bonus.
what am I missing? are shorties the answer to get to those speeds? Profile says this is thier fastest hulls, so what do I need to do to get the added speed besides gobs and gobs of hp, which would test my drives....

On twin engine boats, that 15-20hp is going to be PER ENGINE to pick up a mph.
