Default Calling Throttleup.

Julie it's been a while since you guys did the work on my prop over the winter. Unfortunately the weather has not been the greatest for testing until last weekend.

Just a refresher:
97 26 Powerquest Legend with a stock 454 mag EFI bravo drive and stock 23p Mirage prop was running at 4800 RPM
with a top speed of 57-58 GPS

After the work.
5000 RPM and just shy of 60mph GPS
One thing I've noted is I now need to slow on the throttles otherwise the prop will blow out a bit, Never seems to loose bit entirely.

I'm not sure but it seems like I have a lot more slippage than before.

Whats your thoughts??

Julie, Just talked with one of the guys there at the shop and it sounds like we're dialed in as good as it's going to get.

Thanks for all your help.

Hi Julie,

I have a Powerquest 290AE v-hull with twin MX 6.2 MPIs. I currently have 3-blade Mirage+ 24Ps. WOT at ~5000rpms and fully trimmed.

Top speed varies with air temp/himid b/n 68-70mph on gps.

Can a different prop improve top end? Got extremely fast hole shot now hitting plane in 2-3 seconds. Any other data points you need?

BTW, your message box is full.

I forgot to mentioned I had the props lab-ed by Boat City Prop in OKC. Got about 2-3 mph and noticeable smoothing in bite.
