Update. I got The new upper hinge installed. My tabs are 15" long. at the end there was 1.25" tip up. Now there is 4". Not sure it helped any. I went and did some Solo testing with about 1/2 tank of fuel. I seem get my best speed just before it starts to throw a rooster-tail.best was 60 mph at 5000 rpm. It would then fall to 57 @5200 rpms trimmed way up. Is this a lot of trim for top speed? Today I was given an older hydomotive 23p. I got it from a guy who said he has had it 6 yrs and it came with his baja, so age is unsure. My plain is to run it and set a base line then send it off for a tune up.
