Re: 2001 sunsation agressor hp500
i had the chance today to get a maximus 26.the prop was so big i had to take off my drive shower. as soon as i put the boad foward, it start shaking too much i would not be able to try the prop in case of getting more problem.
i took off that prop and try a 28 bravo. it was slower than my 30 bravo. same rpm 4500 but 67mph instead of 73mph. speed at 3000, 3500,4000 was slower also. i don't know what to try no to reach my 5100 rpm

Based on your test numbers it appears as if the 30 Bravo 1 you have now is lab finished. To get the rpm where it should be you would need something in the 25 pitch range.
You may want to try a stock 26, rpm will still be a little low, or a stock 24. You will need something in between those two to get right where you want to be.
A 26 Bravo 1 can worked to get the rpm you need and would probably end up running the best for you.
As you go to a lower pitch you will find the boat will be slower at any given rpm than it is now.

In order to save the life of the engine, you need to get at least to the 5000 rpm range. You can achieve max speed at any rpm above 5000. You don't need to hit 5250. We will try to prop you with the biggest pitch available to get as close to 5400 as we can with a "standard load".
I think a box stock 26 Bravo 1 would be the best test propeller. We have them available if you wish to try one.

I would try a 3 blade Mirage just to see what kind of speeds you will get. I would guess you need to run a 27, but I have heard the 27(or maybe the 29) had some funky handling issues.
If you lik ethe 4 blade Baravo 1 better I agree with Brett the 26 would be best.
