I have a question
We gonna change the drives from omc 800 to bravo 1.
What x should i begin?
X dimension is this from the bottom or from the keel to the prop shaft.
Nobody could give me the answer so far.
I bought two bravo 1 drives this weekend,so we can start th project.
This is a picture from the boat

If you want to give us a call we descuss it.
Basically you will want to go deep with this set up. A inch or two above the original set up is all I'd want to go. You need the leverage to carry this hull.

What Griff said and..........
In laymans terms, the X dimention is the location of the propshaft centerline to the lowest point on the keel.
Well, thats not really true. However, ultimately we are trying to determine that information. X dimention is a number in inches that determine the depth of the propeller by knowing the overall distance from the crank to the prop and sutracting the distance from the crank to the keel. That will tell you how deep you are.
Today it is just easier to say I'm 5" or 2" or whatever below or above the bottom of the boat. A straight edge and a tape measure will get the info for you.
