That is exactly right! I actually had grass on the bottom when I first tested it then when I cleaned the bottom it just seemed like the prop slipped less because the MPH went up but the RPM pretty much stayed the same, and these numbers are GPS numbers. I would like to run 4lbs of boost so the motors will live a while. The other set will give me 6 lbs. What numbers would you like me to aquire? IE planning time 2500, 3500, 4000, or in inciments of 500 RPM?

Yes 500 rpm increments will be great including WOT. Also the planning attitude, trim capability etc. is equally important. Seat of the pants input will help.
As propeller tuners, and I know I speak for the other prop shops too, we can only be as good as the information that is supplied to us. So many variable are involved and they change throughout the year. |
