Can anyone help me on a prop problem? I have a 26 Eliminator Daytona with @ 700 HP, I had a standard length XR 1.50 with a labbed 32 Bravo and had a problem getting on plane, but when it did would run about 96 @ 5150rpm. I now have a standard length Imco 1.36 and started with a 27 p5 and gets on plane with ease. Im running 4800 @ 82. Not sure of the X on the boat but its a 2002 I have alot more bow lift with this new set up but HAVE THE NEED FOR SPEED! Any help would be greatly Appreciated. Thanks

hey Julie, I have only had the boat in the water once since the repairs on the drive. Im thinking 5100-5150 it makes most of its power. With the old set up i have never hit the limiter at 5250. This P5 is already a move in the right direction from the old set up. With alot of open water in front of me it will climb slow but sure.

The 1.36 gears put you in the smaller pitches. So it appears that you need a 25P ish propeller. You could lab the 27P for about a 180 RPM increase but I really don't think that will be enough RPM. Dynos would sure be helpful.
