Default Arneson Props

Does anyone on the board have or know someone who has a set of 35 or bigger 4 blade or 5 blade props to fit an Arneson big shaft. The staft is the same diameter as a #6 but it has 25 splines instead of 26???? I am spinning 16.5 X 33 4 blades to 6000 RPM with more throttle to go.

HELP

Find some big pitch 19 spline Mercs and have it broached. We used to do it at Merc Racing but they have since stopped the service.

I have searched this forum and others and there does not seem to be many big pitch 4 blades even of the 19 spline variety out there. I may have to go to a merc 26 spline shaft in the arneson to solve the problem.

While a 26 spline shaft will give you many options for props your 25 spline shaft is not a problem for a new set.

A new set of 25 spline props won't cost you any more than a set of 26 spline. The problem is most prop manufacturers may consider them as custom and if the rpm wasn't right they would not be returnable.

Call Rick at Arneson.

I know he has 19 spline to 25-26 adapters but I don't think he has what you need.

there is an adapter from the 19 to 25 and from the 19 to 26, no way to adapt from the 25 to 26 as they are the same diameter
