Default Props for a 28 Velocity

Hi Guys,
I bought VelocityRick's 1999 28 last week and I'm putting a shopping list together.
I spoke to Rick last night about a number of things including what props to run.
I'd like to here a few more opinions before I buy a prop.
I'm not looking to ring the last 2mph out of the boat at this point so what would be the best all around prop?
The second question would be left or right hand rotation?
The last question is what pitch? with a 415HP/502Mag for power.
Thank you,

Please feel free to comment here as well.

I ran a labbed 26 Hydro (rh) on mine with the stock 415hp 502 mag efi and was able to get a best of 73.8 mph on gps. However the best all around prop is going to be a stock 26p bravo.

I just happen to have a pair of 26 Bravo 1's in perfect condition if that is the way you decide to go.

Thanks for the info Frank.
Rick feals that the boat may handle better with a lefty and was running a left hand prop before he traded the boat in.
Did you ever compare left vs. right?

The lefty was better for Rick with the torque of that 540. It was easier to keep on the pad. but with stock power you will not notice any difference between the 2. That being said, I'm just going by research, I have never ran a RH and LH back to back.
