Default Bravo Three 28 P vs Bravo Three XR

We are looking for some Bravo three xr props instead of the normal Bravo Three 26 P we are using now. Can anybody tell me what the ride pitch is for the XR?

Thanks in advance!

We are using a Formula 271 FT 496HO Bravo Three X 1.81:1 26P blades.

Boat is running good on these props.

Sorry I mean 26P!!

You would most likely go to a 27" Bravo III XR propset.

If a 28" standard prop set is correct for you boat then a 25" XR prop set would be too small and you would turn too many RPM's at WOT.

Go down 1" of pitch when going to the XR props.

i.e. 26 B3's to 25B3XR's.

They come in odd sizes.

Why do you want XR's

Because we think the boat will run better with the XR?

You originally stated you were running 28's. So yes, you would want to go to 25's if you are currently running 26's. I talked to Brett at B-Blades about this a year ago and he told me to save my money and stick with the standard propset.

If you have cavitation burn problems, the XR props are the way to go. Otherwise the standard props are faster and can be modified to a larger degree.
