Want To Try P5-Xs
#2
I really like these props, but as far as I know you have to buy from Hydromotive and then have so many days to return for an exchange. I think there is quite a hefty fee if you just return them. Bblades has a much better trial program, such doesn't sell hydros.

We have the Mercury Maximus and the some of the Turbo 5 blade props for testing. These props are direct competitors to the P5X.

It sounds like you're going to need some sort of 5-bladed prop. I almost went back to a standard length lower...I could hardly get on plane with a Bravo 4-bladed prop after intalling the -2 shorty IMCO's. I then tried some P5X's and popped right up on plane and never looked back since.

Hey Brett,
Whats the diff. in the Max's and the Turbo 5?
Also can you give me a idea on $ ?
I was told the Max's are pretty tough on standard Bravo 1s
P.S. Thanks KAAMA, your makn me feel a whole lot better about buying these shortys !
