Default Props

You may be able to jump 2-4 pitch sizes. (25 or 27 3-blade) However, I would recommend trying a 22 or 24 pitch, 4 blade Bravo-1.
I also have a labbed, 27 pitch 3 blade Patriot that we ran on a 29' magic w/ a blown 509. With a 1.5 drive it ran 102 MPH @ 6100 RPM. (Its a left hand rotation) let me know if you want to give it a try. (It's for sell if it works out)

Thanks, Curtis

WhaT SC and how much boost????

Probably a 26 Bravo 1 or something close will be your right prop.

Tweaked Mirsge Plus for speed!

A Bravo 1 adjusted as needed for the best allaround propeller.

If you need a base line prop, let us know.

my 272 ran mid 70's with a stock 4 blade 26 pitch merc w/procharged 502,with more boost it ran high 70's with a tweaked 28 pitch merc 4 blade. If you put a blower on it plan on starting out with a 26 pitch 4 blade. Don't waste your time even trying 3 blades (with the blower),I tried 25's,27's and 29's,boat would barely plane and would blow the prop loose at will at just about any speed. I been running a 272 with different blower motors since 2001,tried it all,Smitty

The 3 blade may have issues planing. However, once on plane, it will give the biggest WOT #'s.

It depends on the increase in HP and the rev limiter setting. Also, tweaking the propeller will help the boats over all attitude.
