Default Ques. for Brett ?

Hi Brett,
I'm curious,
How would removal or shortning of diffuser ring effect chine walk?
I know every boat is different, but as standard rule of thumb?
Thank you,
Darren

Standard rule of thumb,

For every action there is a reaction.

Diffuser rings change the flow of water (action). If the props surface at all, the diff. rings become more reactionary. As the action reacts, the motion will increase as speed increases or the ability to control it deminishes. ie. slow reaction time with steering wheel impulses.

So, removing the rings can help in certain situations. However, don't sacrifice plaining for stretching it out for the big WOT #. In my opinion.
