33's didn't exist then so I assume a 32. Anyway, my 382 came with Procharged 500's and 34P 4 blade bravos. It blew-out getting on plane but needed the large pitch once up and running. Just a trade-off for high HP/gear ratio combos....you could try a 1.36 drive ratio and lower the prop pitch but I hardly feel it's worth the expense.

I don't think anybody hit a nerve but he is right. Pat didn't make a 33 then and he also didn't make any 32's in 04 either. I'll bet you bought Aaron's (thunder-struck) 32. I don't remember the year but it's about 01 maybe 02. I don't know much about those but I would think you would want to start with a set of 32 bravos and use that for a baseline.

Matrix, welcome to the board. You must now be indoctrinated into the cult. Move over to the AT forum and post again and we will begin the mind meld process. Maybe the natives will be more civilized then.
Did you talk to Aaron offline re your issues?
I drop the tabs to get on plane quicker. No real issues with my boat getting on plane but it makes it easier.
