So if i lab the 28's i should be at 4850 +/-

Wouldn't labbed 30's bring the RPM's down too much on my boat?

Also keep in mind that it is only going to get warmer and your motors will likely not make as much power. I am propping mine for the summer heat. I started out thinking I would need 34p labbed bravos and am now going with cut down 32p bravos just to be able to turn the right rpm.

Looking for 80 with low fuel and 2 people :)

good luck gaining 6mph on a prop change:lolhit:
1-2 would be realistic

Are you trimming the boat correctly? Those engines should be turning 5000rpm

I don't dought it. I was only able to get 4900 out of mine down at cumberland. They spun 5300 when it was cooler out.

Yes, trimmed it many different ways until i found the sweet spot.

It's very hot and humid down here in the swamps of Louisiana so I'm sure that's part of the reason for the low RPM's.

Just ordered a pair of Labbed 28's from BBlades. Will let you guys know how it turns out.

I'm sure you will be happy with Bretts props. The engines will be much happier :boat:

This seems very low for HO's what is the temps you are getting this at? Send the props to Bblades and have them labbed and cupped you should see drastic improvements...I'm able to spin 30p labbed from Bblades at 4700rpm's in cool temps running 77-78mph on GPS with HO's in a 302

A buddy of mine has an 07 with HO's in Florida and spins 28's non labbed at 5000-5100 when it is in the 80's and 4900-5000 when its in the 90's. He sees 76-78 max on inland lakes Fresh water. He tried to spin my labbed 30 but I had them set up differnt than what his boat likes. I ran with a Faja 30 today and he had 4 people and 1/4 tank as was running 75-76. Try labbed 28's and get them set to your boat. I would recommend BBLades. Get him RPM and GPS speed numbers and it will help him get the right set up you want. He nailed it on my boat.

In the cooler months, I can run labbed 30's and tap the rev limiter (usually about 78mph but have hit 80 one time). Right now, I'm only seeing about 4500-4600 rpms so I think it's time to throw my labbed 28's back on.
