Default Michigan Wheel Ballistic Propellers

So I need to get a diffrent pitch prop on my boat. I have found one on ebay and its a MICHIGAN WHEEL BALLISTIC Prop. How are these props. All I have is a 330hp 454 so its not a speed demon, I just need to get the rpms back down to spec's. Thanks
Erik

They are a wicked thinned blade prop that has its niche. They usually work well on bass boats, but like any other prop you just have to try it on your hull. If you hull likes it, it can be a sweet prop.

Theyr awsome ,,but what is it that u have now ???
I have a 21p Quicksilver Mirage prop on my 84 wellcraft excalibur w/ 330hp 454 and TRS drive. Only mods are performer intake and lighting headers and it spins up to 5,500rpm's I want it to run atleast 5,000rpm or maybe even lower. There is a 23p bllistic prop on ebay now going off in another day.
Erik
P.S. right now with the mirage prop on the boat it runs great, rides great but the rpm's are very high for a 330hp 454.

A friend of mine bought a 185 powerplay with one on the other day. It does not run well on that hull. I gave him my 21 pitch quicksilver and it ran a lot better on that one.

So its hard to really tell if this prop will be ok or not on my boat..If i can pick it up cheap (hopefully nobody bids on it) i'll try it and if it dosnt work out then I can just relist it forsale.
Bid on ebay is at $99 so hopefully it stays low.

You know the mirage works and handles well, I would stick with that, and change the pitch

You do have a good point, there is another member on here that is going to let me demo his mirage plus props. He has many diffrent pitchs and is willing to sell them if I find one that is usable on my boat.
