Thanks for the detailed difference comparison. I think if i can get baja's prop for 100 bucks, it's worth a shot a getting a decent baseline.
Funny you should mention the tach, the first time to took the boat out, I suspected that was the issue when I saw it climbing through 6100. It's a brand new Auto meter unit, but I put a 5600 RPM chip in the MSD, and it sticks right on the nose now.
I didn't get a chance to measure the X last night, but that may play into this a little.
Now all I have to do is hurry up and wait for warm weather!
