SSM III prop questions
For years all i have owned and dealt with is bravo/trs style props. Trying to learn more about SSM style props.
For example, what diameter props work on a old standard SSM III? I know they are 19 spline.
For example, if i were propping this boat with a TRS or bravo, and was going to use say a 28P bravo 4 blade, what would be a comparable prop for a III? I see the SSM props are larger, so would you use say a 16.5X26 because of the diameter???
Thanks! MT

X dimensions and gear ratios make a big difference. Need alot more info than that. Larger diameter props can always be made smaller , If you buy something to small your stuck with it.

So many variables. Less diameter, less stern lift.
1/2" diameter reduction, plus 150 rpm.
Roundear or cleaver?
Yes, go up in pitch for the B1 to deplete the Long Hub diameter. X dimention is a big issue.
