Default Mirage Prop Questions

Question for you guys... I've been digging all over the net and I can't find any information on the Mirage prop part #s.

Anyway, here's the deal I run twin 260's with Alphas with Mirage prop # 48 13702 21P.

I have a chance to pickup two 48 13702 A41 21P's for 200.00.

What's the difference between my props (48 13702 21) and the one's that are for sale (48 13702 A41 21P)?

I boat in Lake St. Clair, so the reason is to have a couple spares due to the low water levels and anything else that can happen as a fairly new boater.

I'd also like to know if this is the best setup for my boat? It currently comes out of the water and plains off nice. Top speed is about 52. WOT is about 4200 RPM on both sides? 1.51 ratio, 260 HP, 27' 8" Nova III 1987

Thanks,

Don

here my test on 21plus and a reg 21mirage . if you are truning 4200 on reg mirage you will trun 4000rpm on the plus . still good buy for those props if you are only trunnig 4200rpm ,i would twik the motor so you can get 4600rpm or have the props twik. . i like to run my motor at max rpm the boat runs the best all around minrage is faster and top speed 400rpm is about 3to4 mph you are losing . ihave both props reg and plus had my prop guy twik them and it runs so much better when you are at max rpm . i gps all my testing just my finding on my boat. all boat are not the same . ihope i help you out a little happy boating

Thanks for the information. I'm going to pick the props up on Sunday. I thought the RPMs were a little low.... Anyone know of a good prop guy in St. Clair/Port Huron Michigan area? Thanks again

No problem, but you might want to get your internet fixed, I think its broken, took me about 30 seconds to find that.

Smile

We're not in MI but we are close in WI.

The props you are talking about are rubber hubs rather than the newer square bore.
