Default Need Advice

I have a 1996 magic Wizard that has a 540 Fuel injected Motor ASM manifold ect, with a FAST ECU. The boat motor dyno'ed at 605 HP with 600HP of torque.

The boat weighs 4500lbs and can hold 80 gal of fuel. It also has the IMCO SC drive. I ran the boat with a labbed Bronson Hill 28P and could only get it to 4200 RPM's with 3/4 tank and 4 people including my self.

I had my tuner on board so all is fine with the motor, obviously i am running a way to large of pitch.

The boat stays in Lake Havasu AZ, so what should i be running to have some top speed but still get her out of the hole in a timely manner?

thanks again!

What rpm do you need to run? Then the specific BH prop would have to be measured.
Let us know if we can help.

Unfortunately this suggests a 5 inch pitch decrease. I would more than likely be a Labbed version propeller in 4 inches less pitch. Testing a 24 Bravo 1, OSI P4X etc. would shed some light on the subject. It does seem strsnge that you can't pull the 28 with your power.

Let us know if you would like to try some test propellers.
