Question. Does the '03 Rage have a stepped bottom? I'm thinking the Heat was non-stepped at one point and wonder if the Rage was too. Not sure it wold make nearly 10 MPH difference though??

just my opinion.i bought a new baja 272 496 HO back in 2001.the best i can do was 60 mph GPS with a mirage+ cant remember the rpm, have the boat back to the dealer several time they cant find the problem.2 years later after a simpel spark plug change i pick up a solid 6 MPH with a best at 66.4 at 5050.it is only a 100.00 try.wen i remove the old plug they look OK but that was the problem????.

My boat shacks sometimes when going in reverse after boat is ran for a hour or so. What could be the problem. Also when boat drops on plane the RPMS go up like there's a air pocket. I have a 25 P prop with 3 blades.
