Depends if your looking for more bow or stern lift. A bravo is designed to make bow lift, while the hydro is more aimed for stern lifting.. You might want look into a labbed 26, or maybe a mirage 3 blade.. I would stick with a bravo, but in a lab finish..

Default Hydromotive vs Bravo One

Hi!

Check out the Hydromotive Quad X-O/B SS. It is a round ear like Bravo One, but on some applications faster than Bravo One. Its also a true bowlifting prop.

Lab the 26 B1 correctly and you will get the 200 rpm and the bow, or stern lift you need . The Q4 of the same pitch will lower your R's not raise them. It will raise the stern.

Brett. what do you think of the Q4x ? I just tried a set, best prop ive had on my boat, have you worked with them?
This prop gave my boat the bow lift it needed.

I don’t have any experience comparing the Hydro to the Bravo but can say the Hydro slips more than the Rev 4 on my application. I would like to try a Bravo 24p next. Would trade my Hydromotive QIV-X 23P if anyone’s interested?

Q4X is a direct copy of the B1 with different cupping and exhaust tube.

I like Hydros alot but, I'd do the B1 before the Q4X especially and most importantly if Labbing is in the equation.
From a stock aspect, the proof is in the testing. Each is a little different per boat.
I personally like to go with the original.
