I have a 2007 eliminator daytona with speedmaster 2 in shorties. First year i ran it had not problems. about 18 months or so i started racking props. First i thought it was the labing. So i ran stock out of the box merc 4 blades.. they cracked also. boat seems to be running fine.. spoke with Brett from B blades. He is as confused as i am. I have cracked 6 props in a year and half, Some labed some not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bravo 1 props?????
They are not really designed to be surface piercing props and if they are piercing the water like a surface drive prop, then this could be causing your issues. I still think 6 cracked props in 18 months is extreme though. Maybe check the run out on the prop shaft.

I would think that if your drives are that high, you should be running the clever style Q4 hydromotive props. Maybe you just got lucky your first year and did not break a prop. I think Hydromotive also has a special heat treading process that makes the steal stronger. I think you have to pay more for it, but I'm not sure. Go to their website and check it out.
