Powerquest prop

I have an 01 280 Powerquest with a procharged 454 Mag turning a 28 (non-Lab) B1 prop @ 5050 RPMs and 77 on gps. The boat is a single step hull. How would a Hydromotive Q4 work?

Your slip % is 11.53 (perfect).

The Q4 will give more stern lift. In my opinion, more than you will want on this hull. However, trying any propeller is always a good learning procedure.

Try the Hydromotive Q4 X which is a bow lifting (versus the non X model which is a stern lifting prop).

Lab Finish a 30 Bravo 1 propeller to the correct recipe and you will pick up cruise speed and top end.
