Hey Guys, Im looking for some advice on the Titan Prop.
My boat isn't quite the missiles many of you have but it seems there is quite a bit of knowledge among the members which could help.
I have a ALMAR Sounder 24' with a Marinepower Diesel 275Hp @3800rpm VOLVO290sp 1.61 Leg, Boat loaded is around 6000lb
The original Prop I had was a OEM elephant ear16 x 21' which gave
Cruise 3000rpm 44kmh GPS
Max 3800 60kmh GPS
This to me worked out around 25- 30% slip
The prop had been in the wars so I purchased the VOLVO16x 23' Prop. This gave much better fuel economy but pretty much the exact same speeds/revs, at larger slips???
The Issue is now I have Hit a few logs and the prop is a mess, So I would Like to try the Solas Titan.
Should I get the 21p or the 23p as it sounds to bite better even with slightly less diameter.
