Still paying with props on my 22 Center Console and need more stern lift. I have a 24 pitch stock Bravo One that works well but runs a little nose high. What style prop would give me the best stern lift? This is an outboard application.

A Rev 4 or Hydromotive Q4 will give more stern lift.

I like the Q4. Also, a slightly modified P5X could work great if mid range cruise is the main goal. (We would decrease the diameter and blade area)

Yes Mid range cruise is the main goal. If Im running a 24 Bravo now, what would I run in a Q4?

I have 2 Q4 26 pitch for a 1 inch bravo 1 drive if you want to buy them. I don't know if they will fit outboards.

The Q4 will pull the R's down slightly due to truer pitch and wetting more of the hull. So, use that and your current rpm to decide.

Thanks but that might be a little too much for me. Im guessing I would need a 23pitch.

How does the Rev 4 from mercury compare to the Q4 from hydromotive?

A touch smaller in diameter with 5 degrees more rake angle (bow lift). Also the cupping is a little stiffer. The Rev 4 will give better overall lift where as the Q4 will give better stern lift.
Why not test them? Call us and we can arrange this.
